Kurt Jones, Director
In recognition of his contribution to the effective leadership and success of the Cardiff studio we’re delighted to announce that Kurt has accepted the invitation to join the Lawray board of directors. Kurt’s Lawray journey started some 10 years ago, in that time he has consistently met professional goals and developed both his technical and leadership expertise to successfully deliver numerous high-value, complex schemes across education, industrial and hospitality sectors. As head of studio (Cardiff) operations he undertakes responsibility for the successful delivery of all regional projects including the day-to-day management of the team. Kurt will be working closely with co-directors across the practice to achieve strategic objectives including R&D, QA, best practice and resource planning.
Sam Howell, Associate
Sam has played a critical role in the growth of the practice over the past 10 years, advancing our expertise across industrial and education sectors with significant research and development. Sam’s resourcefulness, technical excellence and ‘lead-by-example’ attitude are just a few of the valuable qualities he brings to our Senior Management team in his new role as Associate. Sam will continue to lead some of our largest projects whilst supporting and developing the skills of his team.
Michelle Mason, CDM Consultant
We congratulate Michelle Mason on recently attaining qualifications which have aided her promotion to CDM Consultant. Michelle joined our architectural team in 2018, and after subsequently discovering an aptitude towards health and safety, we were able to provide a development plan for her to diversify her skillset. Michelle’s dedication and talent is rewarded with this promotion, and we look forward to supporting the development of her career in this area as she takes forward our CDM department and Principal Designer services.
