Penthouse – Albion Riverside

The project

Originally designed by Norman Foster, the Penthouse at Albion Riverside offers superb spaces as well as magnificent views of the Thames and the north London skyline. Our London studio was appointed to undertake internal alterations and renovations, strongly influenced by its contemporary minimalist styling.

Attention to detail

Working alongside Richard Meier LLP NY, the scheme called for a total reconfiguration of the interior penthouse, stripped back to a bare shell and core. Every element was scrutinised to provide the finest quality finish.

While challenges existed, we were determined to overcome them. These included an additional roof plant to serve the new comfort cooling requirements, as well as a hidden home entertainment system designed to descend six metres from the ceiling above.

Innovative thinking

To help the client achieve the most from their home, careful attention was made to maximise the space available. This included providing back of house service areas and general storage – innovative thinking that helped ensure the client got the clean, minimalist style they so passionately desired.
