Project Overview
Bresslaw Court in Mile End, London, demonstrates Lawray’s expertise in delivering high-quality façade remediation projects. Acting as Lead Designer, we oversaw the transformation of this eight-storey residential building to ensure full compliance with current fire safety standards.
Scope of Works
With a contract value of approximately £750,000, the project involved replacing non-compliant cladding and insulation with a fully certified, fire-safe K Systems solution. Delivered under a Design and Build procurement route in line with Greater London Authority requirements, our role covered detailed design and installation, including cladding interfaces, parapets, balcony integrations, decking replacement, and the installation of fire cavity barriers throughout.
Completed over a 27-week programme, the project was supported by rigorous site monitoring, close collaboration with stakeholders, and a streamlined design approval process—resulting in a safer, more resilient building for residents and reinforcing Lawray’s commitment to quality, compliance, and building safety.
