Benjamin Howells

Architectural Assistant

Benjamin joined Lawray's London studio in 2024 as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, currently undertaking a Level 7 Architecture Apprenticeship course at London Metropolitan University.

At his previous practice, Benjamin worked on a number of high rise residential schemes, where he gained proficiency in Revit.

Benjamin obtained a first-class Hons in Architecture (BSc) at the Swansea School of Architecture and previously studied Law at Swansea University. He is keen to continue developing his knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework for building design and construction.

Passionate about designing spaces that prioritise health and wellbeing, and sustainability, Benjamin was awarded the Dan Benham Merit award for his part 1 innovative aquaponic and urban farming community centre proposal in Pontypridd.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Benjamin enjoys traveling, watching rugby and American football, and going on hikes with his two dogs.
